| Description |
English: A good walk spoiled, Rolston, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The public footpath across the golf course is not well signposted and arriving from the east a little further south that I thought, I went across to see if this was the pond marked on O/S maps. It wasn't. In a way I'm loath to submit such a picturesque view of the place because my experience here was not a good one. Some of the members out on the course rushed over while I was taking the picture and demanded to know what I was doing there before ordering me off the course. One of them was particularly rude, snobbish and downright aggressive even though I explained that I'd simply misread the map. I'm not a violent person but part of me wishes I'd punched him instead of just walking away. |
