The difference, except in theadditional ftrength of timbers, is only from themiddle rails upward, to which height the doorsonly open ; but as miftakes might frequently hap-pen by attempting to open the doors with theglafs or fhutters up, it is ufual to add a fpring-bolt on that fide of the door which fhuts : fo thatwhen either the glafs or fliiitter is up, it cannotpoflibly be opened.
