Description: La fîg. 1, reprefente une Tartane actuellement en pêche. A eft la grande voile. B, autre voile nommée Tente. C D , voiles dites Coutelas ou Trinquettes; espece de Foques. E F, Bouts-dehors ou Paux , auxque's sont amarrés les halins. G G , Halins ou Sartis. Ils sont doubles en H. I. Bandes ou ailes de filets, qui précèdent le corps de la Tartane. K. Partie de ces bandes, dite Enclestre, dont la maille est plus ferrée. L. Margue ou entrée du corps de la Tartane. M. Endroit où les mailles sont différentes. C'eft la Ségarié. N. Culaignon ou fonds de ce filet. Tout cela est amplement détaillé depuis la page 155 jufqu'à 160. La figure 2, est une Drague ou Chauffe. A B désignent les deux extrémités du bas de l'entrée de ce filet: l'intervalle est garni de plombs. A ces deux endroits A B sont ordinairement deux grosses pierres. La partie supérieure de l'entrée du filet est amarrée sur un Matreau C D, fait d'un bois léger. Des extrémités C D partent deux funins, qui vont se réunir en E à un petit cable; lequel sert à traîner la Drague. Il y a deux petits sunins, de A en F, & de B en H; qui communiquant ainsi aux deux grands, font que le bas est traîné également comme le haut. La ligne ponctuée I K désigne un Epar, qu'en quelques endroits on attache ainsi sur les funins, au lieu d'employer à la tête même du filet le matreau ou épar C D.
