| Description |
English: A difficult section of the C2C For much of the eastern end of the C2C National Cycle Route http://www.c2c-guide.co.uk/, the route follows old railway tracks, including the Waskerley Way which follows the old Stanhope and Tyne railway up to Park Head. To the west of Park Head, however, the path follows the crest of a very narrow embankment, which in a stiff breeze can be hazardous for cyclists. These two cyclists have just concluded that it would be much better to go round by road, as indeed do most of those who follow the C2C. |
