Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A companion to the guide, and a guide to the companion: being a complete supplement to all the accounts of Oxford hitherto published. Containing, an accurate description of several halls, libraries, schools, Public Edifices, Busts, Statues, Antiquities, Hieroglyphics, Seats, Gardens, and other Curiosities, omitted or misrepresented, by Wood, Hearn, Salmon, Prince, Pointer, and other eminent topographers, Chronologers, Antiquarians, and Historians. The Whole interspersed with Original Anecdotes, and interesting Discoveries, occasionally resulting from the Subject. And embellished with perspective Views and Elevations, neatly engraved. The second edition, corrected and enlarged.
