Description
English: Printed so that red-and-yellow symbols indicate the lighthouse locations and the state lines. Prime meridian: Washington D.C. LC sheet imperfect: Wrinkled, probably removed from a textual publication (missing). Includes 2 bar scales--1 in statute miles, the other in geographical (nautical) miles. Handwritten (cursive script) inked identification statement on verso panel: Chart of light houses & light vessels on the coast of the United States, from Maine to Virginia, 1848, M. Fillmore.
