| Description |
English: A bend in Bulmore Road The roadside bank has a minor curiosity : three small clumps of daffodils, only a few metres apart, and apparently of the same type. The clump nearest the camera has flowers fully open, the clump in the middle has some open and some unopen, whereas the clump furthest away (barely visible near the bend) has all its flowers unopen.
My (unscientific) guess is that the clump nearest the camera receives a little more direct sunshine (as it faces roughly west-southwest) than the other clumps whose orientation is nearer west or west-northwest. |
