English: A U.S. flag stands amid the ruins of Briarwood Elementary School in Moore, Okla., May 22, 2013, two days after an EF5 tornado with winds exceeding 200 miles per hour tore through the Oklahoma City suburb, destroying the school and numerous other buildings. The Oklahoma National Guard assisted with disaster response efforts in the aftermath of the tornado, which killed at least 24 people, injured more than 200 and displaced thousands. |
