Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Centurion tank from A Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, grinds its way across a portable 52-ft bridge span. The tank was part of Matilda Force which, in eleven days swept through three provinces in a search for the Viet Cong. Forty four armoured vehicles and 270 soldiers from the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) took part in Operation Matilda.
