Description

NORFOLK (Jan. 29, 2013) Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Carvell Wingfield, assigned the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), performs a mechanical advantage control hold (MACH) take-down during the Armed Sentry and Security Reaction Force-Basic (SRF-B) class. The class is a two week course teaching Sailors about rules and regulations as a watch stander, and provides Sailors with proper firearms training, weapon familiarization, firearm safety, tactical maneuvers and proper use of deadly force.
