Summary[edit]

Description
English: Immigrants and New York born Jews gather here regularly to share experiences of their past and present. It represents a cultural and religious community that could not exist under Soviet rule and arose from the freedom that the American dream promised its members. Park East Synagogue also brings beautiful Romanesque architecture to modern Manhattan with its colorful stained glass windows and a facade supported by strong arches.
