| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) Most visitors to Zion spend their time in Zion Canyon which is hidden behind the mountain on the right side of this picture. Everyone should take at least a half day to drive up Utah Hwy 9 (seen in the bottom right of the picture) to get up into the high country on the east side of the park. Look closely and you'll see a car on the road. This will give you perspective as to the size of the formations. I love to drive, but on a road such as this I almost want to relinquish the duty and become a passenger so I can see more of the sights. |
