English: A Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite-13 infrared satellite image of Tropical Storm Isaac provided by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, Calif., shows the storm at 3 p.m. EST Aug. 28, 2012, as it approaches the Gulf Coast. Isaac developed as a tropical storm over the Western Atlantic Ocean Aug. 21, 2012, affecting Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba before making landfall as a hurricane on the Gulf Coast of the United States. |
