Description

April's Photo a Day theme for today is "This Happened Today".

It was a hectic and long day at work and the traffic I encountered on the way home did not help. It called for a detour that had a very unexpected view. I parked my car and went for a brisk walk admiring the view with the warmth of the sun setting behind me. Normally I would watch the sun set but the view was just spectacular! This just goes to show that it does not matter how bad your day went, it just takes one positive thing to make it great!
