Summary[edit]

Description

A beautiful bird that was a favorite of wildlife trade of pet birds. Till the Indian Government stepped in and stopped it around 1990. In many areas, they are easily sighted in large social groups, often 10 or more and few times in 100's. It requires a lot of luck and patience to get the birds close to the photographer. And with a good lens, I was lucky!
