Description
English: A Winterhilfswerk (WHW) badge: Wir kämpften gegen Hunger und Kalte 1933-34 (“We Are Fighting Against Hunger And The Cold”). The Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes (English: Winter Relief of the German People, WHW), was an annual donation drive by the National Socialist People's Welfare (German: Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt) to help finance charitable work in Nazi Germany. Decorated with a Nazi Party eagle-and-swastika (Parteiadler, "party eagle").
