English: A U.S. Navy ordnanceman transports AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles for McDonnell F-4B Phantom II fighters aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66) on 8 June 1967 in response to the attack on the SIGINT ship USS Liberty (AGTR-5). Note the AIM-7 Sparrow missiles in the background. America, with assigned Attack Carrier Air Wing 6 (CVW-6), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 10 January to 20 December 1967. |
