Description
English: CNS: GLIOBLASTOMA MULTIFORME: VARIATIONS IN HISTOLOGIC APPEARANCE The panels illustrate the great histologic and cytologic variation in this most common primary brain tumor. (A) shows a frequent pattern with nuclear angulation, hyperchromatism, and pleomorphism. These features, in association with the fibrillar background, help distinguish such a glioblastoma from other diagnostic considerations such as metastatic carcinoma and lymphoma.
