Description A Douglas AD-3 Skyraider fromn Attack Squadron VA-174 in the late 1940s. Note the extended dive brakes at the sides and below the fuselage. The tail code "R" indicates that VA-174 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 17 (CVAG/CVG-17).
