Summary[edit]

Description A Douglas AD-4 Skyraider of attack squadron VA-728 is readied for a mission in Korea in 1951. VA-728 was a reserve squadron called to active duty on 1 February 1951. It was assigned to Carrier Air Group Fiveteen (CVG-15) aboard the carrier USS Antietam (CV-36), which was deployed to Korea from 8 Sep 1951 to 2 May 1952. The squadron was redesignated VA-155 on 4 Feb 1953, later called the Silver Foxes, until being disestablished on 30 Sep 1977.
