| Description |
English: A47 towards Hinckley. The A47 was once the main road from Leicester to the West Midlands and was widened to 3 lanes in the 1950's. With the building of the motorway network the traffic decreased, 3 lanes were deemed dangerous and now it is 2 lanes with generous cycle lanes on either side. |
