English: Towboat "Ashland" downbound along lower guidewall of 1200-foot lock at McAlpine Locks.

Twin screw towboat "Ashland" (doc. # 505886, length 150 feet, breadth 44 feet, Alco 16-251C diesels, 5000 hp.) was built in 1966 by St. Louis Shipbuilding, St. Louis, Mo. Originally owned by Ashland Oil, Ashland, Ky., the boat was transferred in 1998 to Marathon Ashland Petroleum, Ashland. In 2005, it was transferred to Marathon Petroleum Co., Findlay, Ohio. In 2010, the boat was sold to Interbarge S.A., Asuncion, Paraguay, and renamed "IB San Lorenzo" . . Ohio River mile 607. Louisville, Kentucky. July 24, 2002. file # a2g068. . IMG_0260.
