"Morris Harvey" downbound, passing under raised lift span. . Twin screw towboat "Morris Harvey" (doc. # 265183, length 62 feet, breadth 19 feet, Cummins KTA19-M diesels, repowered 1988, 1000 hp.) Built in 1953 by Nashville Bridge Co., Nashville, Tennessee. Originally named "Joe Curtis", owned by Tennessee Towing, Inc., Memphis, Tennessee. In 1954, sold to Clifton Towing Co., Clifton, Tennessee, and renamed "Mary Jan". In 1959, sold to Green River Towing Corp., Calhoun, Kentucky. In 1964, transferred to Crounse Corp., Paducah, Kentucky. In 1966, sold to Amherst Industries, Charleston, West Virginia. In 1967, renamed "Morris Harvey". In 1970, transferred to Madison Coal & Supply Co., Charleston. In 2001, sold to Five M Transportation Corp., Louisville, Kentucky, and renamed "McKenna Marie". Still operating in 2018. . Ohio River mile 605. Louisville, Kentucky. March 21, 2001. file # a1c042. .
