Description
English: Looking W from near lower end of Louisville Boat Harbor (at foot of Frankfort Ave., formerly known as Ohio St.).

Partially-sunken houseboat, with ice and snow. Towhead Island at right..

The harbor as seen here was built in 1935-36 as a WPA (Works Progress Administration) project. In 2005, the harbor was closed to make way for a larger one with floating docks as part of the RiverPark Place project.
