The sanatorium is a private institution of 135 beds, located in the Ginter Park suburb,midway between trolley lines, within ten minutes ride of the heart of the city, and onthe Richmond-Washington National Automobile highway. Midway between the Northand the distant South, the climate of this portion of Virginia is almost ideal. Nearbyare many reminders of the civil war, and many places of historic interest are within easywalking distance. The plant consists of twelve separate buildings,most of which are new, located in the midst of abeautifully shaded fifty-acre lawn, surrounded bya hundred and twenty-acre tract of land. Re-moteness from any neighbor assures absolute quiet-ness. The large number of detached buildings makeseasy the satisfactory _ and congenial grouping ofpatients. Separate buildings are provided for menand for women. Rooms may be had single or ensuite, with or without private bath. A few cot-tages are designed for individual patients.
