Summary[edit]

Description
English: A. L. Barker, author of Jamie and The Lion's Gate as well as other books listed below. A. L. Barker is USA-born. She has traveled to many places worldwide and lived abroad in New Zealand for many years. She has learned and participated in many of the ancient and traditional spiritual rites and healing technics in her travels. Her book Jamie and The Lion's Gate, while based in fiction, has some of those rituals included in it.

A. L. Barker's other books also deal with conflict and scary situations for children. As a mother herself, she knows it is important to help children learn how to navigate crises.

A. L. Barker is also an avid outdoors person and has spent a lot of time in jungles and mountainous regions across North America. She holds several unexplainable photos and states, "I'm not afraid of talking about the supernatural because too many unexplained instances have taken place in my time here to ignore that they are real. At this point, it seems foolish to pretend that they don't happen."

A.L. Barker has plans to return to the USA in 2022

Other books include A Scary Situation, When a Stranger Screams
