Description

97 Barrow Street was built in 1899 and exhibits both Greek Revival and Federal Style details. The front door pediment strikes me as a bit of Victorian excess. The house recently sold for $5.5 million, roughly :-).

No. 95 (two bays of which are seen to the left of 97's door) was built in 1847 and was one of the stops on the Underground Railroad. Now a pricey rental, it last sold for $5 million in 2010. (The "Bohemian" Village isn't what it used to be.)
