הערות: כפר כמא, בגליל בין התבור לכנרת, נוסד בשנת 1878 על ידי צ'רקסים אשר במהלך המלחמה הרוסית-צ'רקסית מולדתם נכבשה על ידי האימפריה הרוסית, והצ'רקסים נאלצו לעבור לשטח האימפריה העות'מאנית. כל תושבי הכפר הם צ'רקסים מהרי הקווקז, ודתם היא האסלאם. תושבי הכפר נמנים עם השפסוגים, אחד מ-12 השבטים הצ'רקסים. כפר כמא הוכרז כמועצה מקומית ב1950. הוא אחד מ-2 הכפרים הצ'רקסיים היחידים בישראל, כשהשני הוא כפר ריחאניה שבגליל העליון. מוצאם של הצ'רקסים הוא מהאזור הצפון מערבי של הקווקז.
