Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_89948_P1130312.JPG Notes: פסיפס לוד הוא פסיפס אשר התגלה בשנת 1996 בעיר לוד על ידי הארכאולוגית מרים אבישר מרשות העתיקות. מי שחפר בשטח היה הארכאולוג חנן מימון. הפסיפס היה חלק מרצפתה של וילה בלוד הרומית והביזנטית, מסוף המאה השלישית עד תחילת המאה הרביעית לספירה, והתגלה בשנת 1996, לפני הרחבת רחוב החלוץ בעיר, כשנערכה חפירה להצלת ממצאים ארכאולוגיים. הפסיפס הנחשב לאחד הגדולים, השמורים והיפים בישראל, כוסה בעפר בשל היעדר תקציב. בשנת 2022 נחנך המוזיאון.
