Commemorative Sword presented to RADM Silas Horton Stringham, "From the citizens of Brooklyn to flag officer Silas H. Stringham as a token of their high estimate of his personal and professional worth and of his public services in a long and distinguished career crowned by his gallant acheivement in the capture of the rebel fort at Hatteras 1861."
