Description
English: Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, convoy commander, utilizes his interpretor to speak with the chief of police in Mosalah, a ficitonal village at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, La. These 82nd Airborne Division Soldiers were conducting a combat patrol through the village. In addition to training on convoy operations, the Soldiers also learned the importance of interacting with local populations.
