Description
English: Emblem of the 802d Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, a squadron of the 838 AEAG, 438 AEW.

Blazon: On a disc Azure, a mountain range Brun detailed Sable overall a propeller Sable, dexter blade Gules, sinister blade Vert, surmounted by a winged fist bendwise sinister grasping a wrench bendwise in dexter Or, all fimbriated of the third, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “COOPERATION CONQUERS ADVERSITY" in Yellow letters. Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “802 AEAS” in Yellow letters.

Symbolism: Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The winged fist with wrench in hand alludes to the air advisor's objective of creating a sustainable, fully independent and operationally capable Afghan Air Force. The propeller symbolizes strength of bond between Air Forces and aviation professionals over the mountains, representing the aerial mission in Afghanistan.
