Description
English: Richard di Donato (right), son of acclaimed writer Pietro di Donato, at the dedication ceremony of Pietro di Donato Plaza in Union City, New Jersey, where his father was born and lived, May 22, 2010. In the photo, Richard is shown donating to Union City’s museum some of the brick work created by his father, who worked as a bricklayer, and the trowel he used. From left is Union City Commissioner Tilo Rivas, Mayor Brian P. Stack and Commissioner Lucio Fernandez.
