Summary[edit]

Description
English: 4 Belmont, Shrewsbury. Belmont was a fashionable new street of the 18C, and viewed from the street No. 4 is very grand, of seven bays and three storeys with a pedimented stone doorway. Viewed from the side, the Belmont Bank frontage is a complete contrast, and shows how the old timber-framed buildings were updated by the addition of a brick façade.
