Italiano: La Cappella degi carmelitani, seconda cappella della navata sinistra della chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine a Milano. La tela, di Federico Bianchi (1635-1719), rappresenta Santa Teresa d'Avila di fronte a Gesù. Ai lati, le statue di Sant'Angelo da Gerusalemme e di Sant'Alberto Avogadro. Al di sotto, affresco con Madonna, San Rocco e San Sebastiano (i tre santi invocati contro la peste) attribuito a Bernardino Luini (ca. 1510). Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 3-1-2008.
English: The Carmelites chapel, being the second one in the left nave in the church of Santa Maria del Carmine in Milan, Italy. The painting, by Federico Bianchi (1635-1719), portrays Saint Teresa of Ávila before Jesus. At both sides, statues of Saint Angel from Jerusalem and Saint Albert Avogadro. Beneath, a fresco given to Bernardino Luini (ca. 1510), representing the Madonna, Saint Rochus and Saint Sebastian, the three saints invoked against the plague.
