Description

Black 5 leaving Kidderminster with the 11.15 to Bewdley. The displayed number of 45134 is confusing as I thought this loco was cut up in 1969, or has SVR re-numbered one of its Black 5s

The reason is because steam railway magazine advertised the 15 guinea special as 45110's last day in service since apparently that is what the SVR told them, and someone won a competition to drive 45110 (on what they thought would be its last day in steam.) As result the SVR can't really run it as 45110 after this, so they have had to change the number.

However, I understand that the ticket on the 5 runs out on Sunday 31st of August and it will have to be withdrawn from service until it has an overhaul.
