Description
English: Col. Michael Bills (right), the commander of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, pins a master aviator badge on the chest of Lt. Col. Todd Royar, the commander of the 4th "Longknife" Squadron, May 4. The badge signifies at least 15 years of rated aviation service and 2,000 hours of flight time. Royar, an AH-64 Apache pilot, qualified for the badge while flying as part of Task Force XII in support of Multi-National Division – Baghdad. The 3rd ACR is based out of Fort Hood, Texas.
