The result was a new gun of 3-inches, designated the Model 1902. This model featured a single trail design. The gun's range was 6,500 yards. This model saw service in Mexico during Pershing's Expedition. Obsolete by World War I, they reverted to a training role. This piece, number 170, manufactured by Watervliet Arsenal in 1906. |
