English: “Systems Go,” assigned to U.S. Air Forces Central Command, performs on New Year’s Eve in Southwest Asia, Dec. 31, 2013. This AFCENT band performs a wide variety of hit songs from genres such as jazz, pop, rock and country, providing a high energy atmosphere raising joint and coalition morale. Senior Airman Luis Rosa and Technical Sgt. Shane Spanier are members of “Systems Go,” the band deployed from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Rosa, a San Juan, Puerto Rico, native plays Latin percussion while Spanier, a native of Atwood, Kan., on keyboards. During the holidays, the AFCENT band performed 40 shows in 30 days reaching an audience of 5,700 service members throughout the Central Command area of responsibility.
