Description
English: 330-PS-8766 (USN 710044): Taxiing in Chesapeake Bay with two attending speedboats, the U.S. Navy’s 600-Mile-Per-Hour P5M Martin “Seamaster” reveals outwardly canted wing-top engine Nacelles. Canting is aimed at eliminating heating of the plane’s after-body fuselage when the inboard engine afterburners are used on take-offs, January 31, 1958. (12/16/2014).
