Description
Nederlands: Betonnen replica van De kaasboerin van Ineke van Dijk. Vijftig replica's gemaakt ter ere van het feest Gouda 750 (jaar). Allen beschilderd door groepen of kunstenaars uit de gemeente Gouda. Dit beeld is beschilderd door leden van serviceclubs Soroptimistclub Gouda e.o. en Zonta Gouda. Zij werken samen in de campagnes van Orange the World, een mondiale actie die door de Verenigde Naties in het leven is geroepen om geweld tegen vrouwen tegen te gaan. Zij geven aan Gouda door dat vrouwen elkaar steunen in de strijd tegen geweld. Het ontwerp is van kunstenaar Andrea Dogterom. Vanaf 15 april is de locatie van het beeld: Marathonlaan ter hoogte van nr. 26, wijk Goverwelle (Hoef- en Veldbuurt)
