Shield

Per bend Azure and Celeste (Oriental Blue) a lightning bolt bendwise Gules fimbriated Argent (Silver Gray).

Crest

That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserve: From a wreath Argent and Azure the Lexington Minute Man Proper. The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H.. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Symbolism

Shield

Oriental blue and silver gray are the colors traditionally used by the Military Intelligence Corps. Red denotes valor and zeal. The two blues represent night and day vigilance and the organization's covert and overt mission. Speed of operation and the dominant role of combat electronic warfare on the battlefield are highlighted by the lightning bolt.

Crest

The crest is that of the U.S. Army Reserve.

The coat of arms was approved 4 March 1997.
