Description
ქართული: ბუნების ძეგლი წარმოადგენს მდ. ხრამის (ქცია) შუა წელში, ლავურ ქანებში გამომუშავებულ ღრმა კანიონისებრ ხეობისა და მდ. ჭივჭავის კანიონის ერთობლიობას. სამშვილდის კანიონი იწყება გაშიშვლებული კვარცპორფირის ინტრუზივით, რომელსაც გამოფიტვის შედეგად სცვივა მაგმური კვარცის ლამაზი ერთნაირად დაკუთხული ბიპირამიდული ფორმის კრისტალები. კვარცის ეს კრისტალები ბუნების ნამდვილი საოცრებაა. ბუნების ძეგლი მოიცავს 5-6 კილომეტრის სიგრძის მდ. ხრამის კანიონს და 3-4 კილომეტრის სიგრძის მდ. ჭივჭავის კანიონს. კანინის ჩაჭრის სიღრმე საშუალოდ 300 მ-ია. ბუნების ძეგლის სიახლოვეს მდებარეობს საინტერესო ისტორიული ძეგლი - სამშვილდის ნაქალაქარი.
