Summary[edit]
Description24 Belgrave Square - geograph.org.uk - 1513547.jpg |
English: 24 Belgrave Square This mansion, standing at the south corner of Belgrave Square, was designed by Henry Kendall in 1826 for Thomas Kemp MP. It was remodelled some time before 1853, with the wings heightened and extended. Grade I listed.
It now houses the Spanish Embassy. The square was laid out from around 1826. Unusually, detached mansions were designed by separate architects for three of the corners. |
