Description
Deutsch: 10.04.2023 01189 Dresden-Gittersee: Zwei GEWOG-Wohnhäuser auf der Karlsruher Straße 128 und 130 (GMP: 51,006190,13.688450). Erbaut nach Plänen des Architekten Hans Waloschek um 1930 im Bauhausstil. Die GEWOG war die "Gemeinnützige Wohnungs- und Heimstättengesellschaft für Arbeiter,- Angestellte und Beamte". Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts begann die zunehmende Bebauung der Straße mit größeren Mietshäusern sowie kleineren Geschäften. Zu den markanten öffentlichen Gebäuden gehören das Gitterseer Rathaus und das Postamt Coschütz. Vor der Eingemeindung wurde die Straße in Coschütz Dresdner Straße, in Gittersee Kohlenstraße, später ebenfalls Dresdner Straße genannt. Ab 1927 verkehrte die von Altplauen über den Plauenschen Ring bis nach Gittersee verlängerte Straßenbahn über die Karlsruher Straße. [SAM6326.JPG]20230410120DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
