LOOK || The Grey Eagle Has Landed

Summary[edit]

Description
English: FEBRUARY 18, 2023 - The GreyEagle and WESCOM Chief Vice Admiral Alberto Carlos PN has landed not on the Moon but on the Flight Deck of BRP Andres Bonifacio (PS17) anchored at Ulugan Bay, Palawan after more than a Week-long deployment in the WPS.

Vice Admiral Carlos visited PS17, a PN air-capable Warship skippered by Commander Paul Hechanova PN (GSC), also a Naval Aviator turned Surface Warfare Commanding Officer during this morning’s scheduled Deck Landing Practices (DLP) between the said Warship and a PN AW109E Naval Helicopter, NH431. Part of the Grey Eagle’s visit was to check on the welfare of the Ship’s Crew and the General Condition of the Ship after a grueling Sovereignty and Maritime Patrol Mission in the WPS. “Thank you for your enduring dedication and commitment as Patriots and Defenders of the Western Frontier”, says Vice Admiral Carlos PN while addressing the Troops during a quick and simple but worthwhile talk-to-men held at the Warship’s Mess Hall.

PS17 is set to conduct another round of patrol mission anytime soon as part of WESCOM’s objective of establishing a strong naval presence in the WPS.
