Summary[edit]

Description
English: Tower 8 on San Bruno Mountain, 600 Radio Road. There are just two FM antennas on this tower, both for KMVQ/99.7fm. That's the moon on the left.

For the main antenna on top of the tower—

Site Location: 37-41-15.0 N 122-26-04.0 W (NAD 27) Effective Radiated Power: 40 kW Antenna Center HAAT: 396 m (1299 ft.) Antenna Center AMSL: 452 m (1483 ft.) Antenna Center HAG: 51 m (167 ft.) Site Elevation: 401 m. (1316 ft.) Height Overall: 56 m (184 ft.) Omni-Directional Antenna Antenna Make/Model: None

On the face of the tower looking north at San Francisco, the auxiliary antenna—

Site Location: 37-41-15.0 N 122-26-04.0 W (NAD 27) Effective Radiated Power: 45 kW Transmitter Output Power: 22.5 kW Antenna Center HAAT: 378 m (1240 ft.) Antenna Center AMSL: 434 m (1424 ft.) Antenna Center HAG: 34 m (112 ft.) Site Elevation: 400 m. (1312 ft.) Height Overall: 56 m (184 ft.) Omni-Directional Antenna Antenna Make/Model: Harris FMH-4AC

The bottom antenna is indeed a four-bay. The top is a six-bay.

This is an unusual case, where the main signal is weaker than the auxiliary one. But it is advantaged by height and less shadowing by the tower.

The white antenna on the side is a UHF TV one, but I found no license for this location. All the TV stations currently (September 2019) transmit from towers 8 and 9, on UHF.
