Description
Deutsch: 06.03.2019 04758 Oschatz, Am Wüsten Schloß: Wüstes Schloß Osterland (GMP: 51.290483,13.070169). Auf einer 1586 gezeichneten Karte ist die RuinensteIle mit der Beschriftung "Das alte Schlos" versehen, was auf einen verlassenen Herrschaftssitz hindeutet. Um 1213 vermutlich als Jagdschloß errichtet. Im 14. Jahrhundert war der Herrschaftssitz bereits schon wieder so verfallen, daß man in einer Urkunde von 1379 von dem "wüsten steynhuse" sprach. Etliches bleibt geheimnisvoll, so das zu seiner archäologischen Sicherung nach seiner Ausgrabung 1991-1993 wieder zugeschüttete Brunnenhaus. Es gehörte mit seiner ungewöhnlich reichen Architektur zu den schönsten Profanräumen, die aus dem 13. Jahrhundert bekannt sind. [SAM9805.JPG]20190306140DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
