Kris för svenska flygbolaget BRA – har ansökt om rekonstruktion. Flygbolaget Braathens Regional Airlines, BRA, ansökte den 6 april 2020 om en ekonomisk rekonstruktion av företaget för att undvika konkurs. Enligt ett pressmeddelande är målet att rekonstruktionen ska leda till att flygtrafiken ska kunna återupptas efter sommaren. Företaget svarar för närmare en tredjedel av det svenska inrikesflyget med i normala fall två miljoner årliga passagerare och 600 anställda. Redan den 19 mars meddelade BRA att all personal skulle permitteras och den 1 april gavs besked om att all flygtrafik pausas fram till den 31 maj. Nu är det upp till den av Tingsrätten utsedda rekonstruktören att ta ställning till företagets framtida möjligheter. Redan under 2019 drabbades BRA av att antalet inrikes passagerare i Sverige minskade. Coronakrisen blev nästa hårda slag. BRA skapades 2016 genom en sammanslagning av flera regionala flygbolag, däribland Malmö Aviation. Bolaget ägs av Per G. Braathen genom det svenska investmentbolaget Braganza.
