English: The New York City Department of Sanitation's Spring Street Salt Shed, located at 336 Spring Street at the corner of West Street, with a facade on Canal Street, in the Hudson Square neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, just north of Tribeca, was built in 2016. The cubist structure cost $21 million and was conceived by Dattner Architects in association with WXY. The walls of the shed are 6 feet thick. This image shows the structure from Canal Street.
